The Ship Has Landed

Last week, SandBox Union opened the doors of its brand-new office in Rochester. The team scrapped plans for a grand opening event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but a small crew now inhabits the space, and product development proceeds to meet the needs of their clients.

“We’re thrilled to be in our own space,” Stated SBU President Tiffany Organisciak. I started this company as a side project in the basement. As the needs of this community grew, so did we—and we’re thrilled to call East Rochester home for the foreseeable future!”

It’s a bare-bones team currently working from the new office space. The company has numerous employees and freelancers working remotely as continuing social distance protocols are in place. “We’re not at full capacity yet, but we’re going to get there. Our main concern right now is the health and safety of SBU’s employees,” “Fortunately, our industry is one in which people can work from home, and we’re still able to meet the demands of our clients.”

With countless projects underway, Tiffany hopes to have the space filled as soon as it is safe to do so. “The work is here, space is here, and we’re going to have no problem growing. As soon as we know we’re not risking the health of others and ourselves—we will be ready to really take off!”
