Scoreboard

Whether the NFL season kicks off this without a hitch this year or not, virtual football is still alive and well. Starting on Saturday, August 22nd, PlayerzZone will host “ROC’s Best Player” Tournament, a Madden 2020 video game tournament—an event sure to bring fun and excitement.

Aiding in tournament game-play will be a state-of-the-art scoreboard, built by SandBox Union. Creating this incredible action-tracking tool is the team at SBU, including RIT co-op students Dana Colletti and Zach Brown.

“It’s great when local companies get to work with other local companies to solve problems and create fun and engaging events for the community.” Said SBU Partner, Joey Organisciak.

The tournament will host a whopping 100 teams and award a grand prize of $500 after the tournament concludes on August 29th. This massive sudden death competition is sponsored by 94.1 The Zone, with added prizes from other local partners.

“We couldn’t be more excited about this,” stated SBU President Tiffany Organisciak, “we love working within our community. We cannot wait to show off the incredible scoreboard we have put together. We have so much we can offer businesses big or small, and we hope this is proof of concept.”

Do not miss out on all the action from some of Rochester’s best Madden players. Check out the company’s Eventbrite or check their website for the latest rankings on all the hard-hitting electronic action.
